About Me

Loan Officer · NMLS 2085141

Hello! I am so pleased to be able to assist you through the process of obtaining a loan. Oftentimes, as loan officers, we become a brief part of your busy life and only for a few short weeks. However, your home is probably the most expensive item you may purchase in your lifetime and the most important. It is where dreams are formed, lives are shaped, memories are created and families gather to connect. So whether you are refinancing your existing loan, or buying a new home, I want your experience to be a delightful and joyous event. I think to achieve our goal in making this the easiest process, it is important to know WHO is helping you finance your American Dream.

I was born and raised for most of my childhood in West Texas. That’s where as a kid I spent my days working on the ranch, playing in the cotton fields, fishing at my grandfather’s pond, and getting in to trouble, as most boys do. I also played on those other fields Texas is famous for, the football fields, and developed a love for the gridiron pastime. By the time I reached junior high school my parents, sister and I had become firmly rooted in our new home away from home, Southern California. I attended El Modena High School in Orange where I was both a Captain of the Academic Decathlon Team and a Varsity Athlete. After high school I attended Santa Ana College, and then the University of California at Irvine.

I grew up around Real Estate. My father Charles was a football coach, high school teacher and Real Estate Broker (Dad was always busy), and my older sister Sonya Miranda is a talented salesperson just like our Mother Joan; Sonya is the exotic one, she’s Hawaiian, born at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu; Sonya is an amazing Real Estate Agent. My beautiful Korean-American wife Jenny and I met in 2008. Jenny was definitely out of my league, but when she kept laughing at my jokes (I’m not funny) I knew I might actually have a chance! My wife Jenny is definitely the heartbeat of our family, and the straw that stirs the drink! Over the last dozen years Jenny and I have worked hard to build a happy little family. My son Charlie was named to honor his grandfather, he is 10 years old and built like a linebacker, and Charlie is also a 1st Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo; my lovely daughter Ava Miranda is now 7, shares her middle name with her Aunt, is an avid reader, is working hard to master both English and Korean, and she’s as smart as a whip. Don’t get me wrong, I still love Texas, but my Southern California home away from home is now the home to my family- and I wouldn’t trade either for all the money in the world.

After this last year, most of us can say they have seen the tops of the hills and the bottom of the valleys, what a topsy-turvy world. In good times and bad, I stand firm to my loyal clients and business partners. It is my heart’s desire to see people’s lives changed through all types of different loan programs and I am in it for the long haul. Thank YOU for trusting me with your loan needs and I am continually blessed by the referrals I receive from my clients!
