Cecilia Romero was born and raised in Southern California. She graduated from University of La Verne with her Bachelor’s degree with Departmental Honors in Business Administration. Also, she received her Associates degree from El Camino College in Torrance. Some of the earlier studies included Microsoft Office Specialist Certification from Cal State Fullerton, Business Occupation and Cosmetology Certification from So Cal ROC in Torrance, Sheriff’s Deputy Academy for Deputy Trainee at the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. Cecilia held a wide variety of positions within the accounting department from payroll for Lennox School District, procurement and purchasing for S.Systems Corp an Airforce government contractor, accounts payable and transportation for Memorial Hospital of Gardena and accounts receivable for TGA. Her last corporate position was Controller for TGA an Entertainment Technology design company in El Segundo. Cecilia began in the mortgage industry in 2001, as mortgage loan officer, she is well known for her experience, knowledge, friendly personality, work ethics and integrity. Cecilia believes in good old-fashion personal service, using the latest technologies for the younger clients. Her fluency in the Spanish language gives the Latino clients the trust and understanding of the loan process. She has conducted trainings in collaboration with the City of Fontana for First Time Buyers (in English and Spanish), Realtors trainings for FSBO’s, HUD Homes, among others. At AFN, Cecilia has access to all the loan programs her clients need and the features they want such as: FHA, USDA (Rural), HAMP, HARP, State Bond Programs, Jumbo, Foreign National, Low Down Payment Options, Reverse, 203(k), VA, and more.
Cecilia’s thrive on making every transaction an enjoyable experience. Her goal is to create long lasting relationships with clients and realtors. In giving back to the community Cecilia sponsors Olive Crest –strong families, safe kids non-profit organization. She was member and contributor of Women’s Auxiliary for Hillview Acres Children’s home in Chino.
