I grew up in Colonial Williamsburg where my father was a math professor at the college of William and Mary.  I attended Longwood College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science with a math major. After graduating, I started as a loan officer in Richmond Va. and was then promoted to many positions such as Head Trainer, Branch Manager, Area Manager, and Regional Manager. These promotions took me to Long Island Ny, Corona Del Mar California, and 15 years in Ho-Ho-Kokus NJ. I’m now married with 3 children and have spent the last 6 years in Miramar Beach Florida.  My wife and I wanted to transition to another state before our kids started high school, and we felt that Miramar Beach was a great place to call home.  

Upon moving to Florida in 2017, I took a job building a Mortgage team with Bank of Little Rock Mortgage, a small Federally Charted Bank.  In March of 2022, I was recruited and offered an opportunity to join American Financial Network, Inc. AFN was a much larger company and better positioned to maneuver through the market changes that we knew were coming. In May 2022, I opened my own Miramar Beach Branch under the support of AFN and am once again running my own Mortgage team. We continue to pride ourselves with selling lasting relationships, not just loans. Miramar Beach Branch is currently licensed to do business in 16 states, and AFN as a company, can close in all 50 states.  Having lived in multiple states myself, I chose to get licensed in the states that I had previously marketed in and those that I had received referrals. Everything that we do is done In-House for speed, and not brokered out which can really hurt the process and turn times.

I hope that you will see, from our social surveys and past customers feedback, that once we do a loan for an individual, our goal is to become their trusted mortgage professional for life. We never risk misquoting anybody. If you are experienced, it does not take long to slow the process down, and listen to the goals of each customer, so that we can stand behind any quote. Apples to Apples we can compete, if not beat, any program and product price point out there. When it comes to referrals, and especially Realtors, our team never pre-approves a loan that we can’t close, and we never miss a closing date.  After close to 30 years of doing business, we have the reputation that if we can’t close a loan, it just can’t be closed.  More importantly, if a borrower can’t qualify, we will not allow them to be dragged through a tough process, just to be turned down in the end.
