Chris provided good advice and service. He stayed engaged when any issues came up. Chris was great however the bank and escrow company not as much.

Not Chris's fault or that of AFN but COVID disrupted a lot of things. Delayed things. And other people at other businesses were not as quick to communicate to him or us or the information to him or us was confusing or incomplete requiring extra call to verify. Chris was always quick to communicate or try to find the answer.

Process was way too long, though not the fault of AFN.

Appraisal Process was not ideal. We also would have preferred to lock in our interest rate sooner rather than later. We waited till the last few days when we needed to close. There were a lot of added fees that were never explained to us when closing. We also were in a time crunch due to Appraisal issues that could have been handled better. We also paid .95% in interest buy down that was never mentioned until I noticed it on the contract. By then we needed to close the day of. We literally had hours to square up our down payment to when we were given our actual loan agreement. Very rushed with little warning.

There were several issues with improper gathering of information as well a few miscommunication issues with information that made the purchase process take much longer than anticipated. Kathy did well to address the issues, but they still impeded the process.

Kathren Rosales did a far superior job of getting my loan closed than the original agent. However, as his manager/supervisor she has some responsibility in helping and directing the process from beginning to end. I appreciate her efforts and her follow up has been excellent, but it is a case of too little too late. If I had seen the same concern at the beginning that I saw at the end, I would give Kathren above average marks.
